Rss Newsfeed Options
What Is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is a technology that allows you to receive up-to-date news from different websites, delivered directly to one screen on your computer. RSS also automatically highlights new headlines so that you do not have to refresh your screen each time.
How Do I Use RSS
In order to use RSS you’ll need an RSS reader. An RSS reader is typically a standalone program or built in to existing programs on your computer such as web browsers and email readers. Some websites, such as Yahoo1 and Bloglines2 also offer online readers that allow you to create your own RSS page simply by logging on to their service. Alternately, many RSS readers are available for download onto your computer including those listed on www.download.com.
